I like the low sound; I think the color is awesome; I don't have to tune it very often, as it's already on tune; plugs into amps easily; it's awesome! I and my guitar are known as the fat bottom of the school band. (bought the guitar for my 10-year old daughter for school band, and those are her words!).

The design of the neck and fully adjustable traditional bridge provide superior action making this bass very easy to play. The dual cutaway shaped body allows access to the highest frets, and the contoured body makes it comfortable to play for hours. The solid alder wood provides a superior, authentic vintage sound. (Many basses in this price range that are sold by other vendors often contain plywood.) Bolt-on maple neck adds stability and is built with a truss rod. (A truss rod is an adjustable neck reinforcement designed to resist the forward bending force of the high tension of steel strings, and is found in the finest of electric basses.) Ultra fast rosewood fretboard with 20 jumbo frets. Split type passive pickup offers a full sound. All chrome hardware and three ply pick guard complete the look. When I ordered this exact bass guitar kit, I wasn't sure how good it would be. I've had this bass guitar for about 2 months now, and it is so great. I love the color and especially the back part! The bass sounds great, the only problems I've had are the guitar strap, and the Amp/tuner chord. The strap is standard and will last only about 2-3 weeks, and the chord was poorly attached, because it will easily tear, so I use tape for that now. Those items can easily be bought for not much money, and the bass guitar is very well-made. I definately give this product a 5/5!!!

I bought this about half a year ago for my birthday and it's still in great shape despite the fact that I pick it up and play it everyday. It's my first bass and for a first bass it has a fantastic sound!!! The only problem that I occasionally have (other than tuning everyday which is really with every instrument) is the screws that hold on to the strap I find myself every other week having to re-screw them. After all is said and done this Bass Pack is phenomenal.

I bought this set for my daughter, who taught herself to play. It is great for a beginner. The amp and bass have a good sound tho we added some pedals for sound enhancement. We have had it for 2 years now and it is holding up well for something that is carried around and played often by my daughter and her friends. It was a well made purchase! I highly recommend this for a beginner. It is not so expensive so if it is not quite the musicians cup of tea, you have not put out hundreds of dollars. A good value!

This guitar is a great buy. I recieved it very quickly and it was in mint condition. It has a great sound and the amp gives off very good sound also. The color of the bass guitar is a metallic red, it's beautiful, it has a very polished look. And, to my surprise, it wasn't very heavy. I am learning to play bass guitar, and I think this is a good one to start with.
